Name: Albert Gustafson Date: February 27th, 1912 - May 19th, 2010 Obituary: Albert was born on February 27th, 1912 in Darling, Minnesota. He was united in marriage with Hildur Fredrickson in Oregon on July 3rd, 1937 and shared 72 years of wedded bliss together. (Truly… it really was wedded bliss!) He was the owner and operator of the Albert Gustafson Concrete Products Factory which he founded in the 1940’s and continued operating until the end of the 20th century. He enjoyed his time together with Hildur, his niece Arlene Weaver, who drove for 6 days from Canada every summer over the past 15 years to visit them, and with family and friends. Albert ‘lit up’ when his grandchildren and great-grandchildren visited. He and Hildur loved to travel, watch the Minnesota Twins and especially liked to converse in Swedish. Albert is survived by his wife, Hildur Gustafson of Country Manor Care Center in Sartell, MN; sons, Douglas (Lynne) Gustafson of Fair Grove, MO, and Daniel (Suzanne) Gustafson of Buffalo, MO; daughter, Bonnett (Richard) Chandler of St. Cloud, MN; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his 6 brothers and sisters.
