Name: Skylar Zalasin Date: February 7th, 1992 - May 23rd, 2010 Obituary: Skylar Blue Zalasin was born on February 7, 1992 in Coeur d’Alene, ID to Diane and the late Steven Zalasin. He grew up in Little Falls, MN where he attended Mary of Lourdes Elementary and Middle school. Skylar was expecting to graduate from Pierz Healy High School in Pierz, MN on June 4, 2010. He loved his work where he was employed at the Mille Lacs Grand Casino working in the restaurant and banquet halls. Skylar’s true passion was his automobiles. He spent endless hours working, fixing, and tuning up his many cars. Skylar also loved to hunt, fish, cook, and grow vegetables to use for cooking. His future plans after graduation was to attend Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts to pursue a career as a chef. Skylar was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Skylar is survived by mother, Diane Zalasin of Little Falls, MN; brother, Tyler Zalasin and special friend Jamie Moore of Chicago, IL; half-sisters, Tovah Zalasin of Tampa, FL, and Jaella Zalasin of Tampa, FL; nephews, Kieran and Caleb Morgan; grandparents, Alvin & Rose Janorschke of Buckman, MN, and Marilyn Zalasin of Phoenix, AZ; 19 aunts and uncles, and many cousins. Skylar is preceded in death by father, Steven Zalasin; and grandfather, Norman Zalasin.
