In 1965 Mary “Marion” moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she worked in housekeeping for the Milwaukee County Hospital until her retirement. She enjoyed traveling, playing bingo, and going to rummage sales. Visiting with her family and being with her grandchildren was how Marion liked to spend her time. Marion is survived by her loving partner of 40 years, Jerry VanderVenter of Milwaukee, WI; sons, Russell Merrill, Sr. of Siren, WI, Robert Merrill, Jr. of Barron, WI; brothers, AJ Nickaboine and Ole Nickaboine both of Onamia, MN; a sister, Evelyn Kegg of Onamia, MN; grandchildren, Raymond, Lydia, and Marie; and many great-grandchildren.
