Name: Ramona Cyrus Date: July 12th, 1928 - June 17th, 2010 Obituary: Ramona was born on July 12, 1928 in Early, Iowa to the late Hubert and Marie (Kobilka) Seelen. She grew up in Little Falls, MN graduating with the class of 1946 from Little Falls Community High School. After graduation Ramona completed one year of Teachers training. She taught for 1 year in country school and also did some substitute teaching through out her life. Ramona was united in marriage to Dale Cyrus on September 25, 1948 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN. She was very active and very proud of her many years she was involved with Camp Fire. Ramona also enjoyed spending time in her flower gardens raising beautiful flowers. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Christian Mothers, Legion of Mary, and also taught Sunday School. Ramona is survived by daughters, Kathleen (Wayne) Shilson of Park Rapids, MN and Patricia ‘Patty’ (Steve) Hins of Wahpeton, ND; sister, Kathleen ‘Kitty’ Abrahamson of Little Falls, MN; grandchildren, Shannon Brenny of Brainerd, MN, Randy (Amanda) Brenny of Baxter, MN, Amy (Nick Klein) Shilson of Columbia, MO, and Andrea (Justin) Nyland of Moorhead, MN; and 3 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, Hubert and Marie Seelen.
