Balaski was born on April 21, 1952 in Little Falls, Minnesota to the late Edward & Dolores (Schuett) Balaski. He graduated from Little Falls High School in 1970. For the past 9 years Randy was employed with the Little Falls School District as a custodian. He was previously employed with 7-UP Bottling for 12 years and Dr. Pepper Bottling for 21 years both were located in Little Falls. Randy enjoyed playing and listening to music, especially the guitar and juke boxes. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, volleyball, biking, telling jokes, camping, traveling, giving hugs, watching the Twins and Vikings. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Randy is survived by his daughter, Sarah (James) Fisher; sons, Jesse, Michael and David Balaski; step-children, Jamie (Victoria) VonderHaar, Ethan (Santhi) VonderHaar and Natasha VonderHaar; granddaughter, Lilliana Rose Balaski; brother, James (Donna) Balaski all of Little Falls, MN; sister, Diane (Noel) Gaboury of Merrifield, MN; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Randy is preceded in death by his parents, Edward & Dolores Balaski. Pallbearers will be Billy Lashinski, Sam Bloom, Mike Umlauf, Mike VanHeel, Josh Nelson and David Nelson.
