Bidaanakwad, William Anthony Nickaboine was born on October 6, 1990 in Onamia to Arlene Weous and Kalen Nickaboine. He attended Nay Ah Shing school where he participated in wrestling, basketball, golf, and spelling bee contests. William “Willie” graduated from Onamia Schools where he played junior high football. He served as a Head Start Brave from 1995-1996. Willie enjoyed being with family. Expecially his nieces, nephews & cousins. He loved to play chess, Scrabble, and cribbage. He was also an avid Packer fan.
William Anthony Nickaboine is survived by his mother, Arlene Weous of Onamia, MN; brother, Jon Nickaboine of Onamia, MN; sisters, Jo Denise Nickaboine of Onamia, MN, Judith Shaugobay of Minneapolis, MN, Samantha Nickaboine of Aitkin, MN; and special friend, Amanda Drumbeater of Onamia, MN; nieces, Jenise Smith, and Cadence Nickaboine all of Onamia, MN; nephews, Jon Smith, Jr., James Smith, and Joshua Nickaboine all of Onamia, MN; grandfather, Tony Weous; and grandmother, Bette Sam of Onamia; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.
William was preceded in death by his father, Kalen Nickaboine; grandmother, Elleraine Weous & grandfather, William Nickaboine.
